The IBA x Jus Mundi Partnership is the first collaborative initiative to collect non-confidential commercial arbitration awards and related case documents worldwide and make them easily accessible to the global legal community. This exclusive partnership will help promote accessibility in commercial arbitration.

👉 Why did IBA choose Jus Mundi?

The IBA’s subcommittee on International Commercial Arbitration Case Law has two principal tasks: To collect non-confidential international commercial arbitration awards on a truly global basis, and to write annual reports on specific substantive legal issues based on those collected international commercial arbitration awards.
The IBA chose Jus Mundi because it is a great source for research with the potential to contribute to the development of law.
Jus Mundi agreed to make access to the database available at no cost, so that users without an account can search all the arbitration awards collected (without Jus Mundi’s premium features).
With Jus Mundi’s assistance, the IBA has been able to move forward, collect more arbitrary awards and achieve the purposes of the Subcommittee.

- Jus Mundi receives the international commercial arbitration award (and related case documents, if any) you have that is not confidential, or that was disclosed through a “set-aside” or “enforcement” proceeding.
IBA Arbitration Committee Review
- The IBA Arbitration Committee approves the publication of the award on Jus Mundi.
Jus Mundi indexing
- Jus Mundi uses Artificial Intelligence to make the awards easily searchable in various languages. The awards become publicly and freely available on jusmundi.com. The contributor is mentioned with prior consent.
IBA annual report
- IBA Arbitration Subcommittee produces an annual report on substantive law issues based on the collected awards.
